Great hotel right in the heart of South Beach with an Truly Incredible Staff Litzy at the front desk is Truly AMAZING!!! She is the gem of this place She always makes my son smile with her warm and welcoming energy. And my son is like “talk to the nice lady again?” From the moment we arrived Jaeni was very welcoming and accommodating. I had my 2 year old son as well as a HEAVY car seat. I asked if it was possible to have a room on the 1st floor and she made it happen Throughout the trip all employees have always smiled and taken time to talk to my son and myself and made it feel like a home away from home. The cleaning staff has been wonderful as well. We loved our stay and I can’t recommend this place highly enough

This is by far hands-down the best hotel I have ever stayed at. I had a medical emergency while I was staying. The hotel staff was incredible and got me services right away. Then they extended my stay without charging me an extra night. To top all of that off they were actually caring and concerned about my well-being versus the price of the room I was staying in. If you want a classic hotel with an amazing interior and staff plus the addition of real southern hospitality this is the only place to go. I will never stay anywhere else when I visit Miami. I fully intend to be back before the end of the year. This hotel just has it all! Wonderful history and incredible caring staff that you can't find anywhere else. Do yourself a favor and stay at this hotel!!!!!

As I walked down the street Hotel Shelley’s fragrance attracted my attention immediately! It smells so nice and clean. Once my family and I walked in, Litzy at the front desk was so kind and welcoming. The rooms were so cute and comfortable. I definitely recommend it!

Great location and good value for money We stayed at the Shelley Hotel in Miami Beach for four nights and overall had a very positive experience. The hotel’s strongest point is definitely its location. It’s incredibly strategic: just a few steps from Ocean Drive, right in the heart of the Art Deco District. From here, it’s very easy to explore all the key areas of Miami Beach — Lincoln Road, Española Way, South Pointe Pier — everything is reachable within 15–20 minutes on foot. If you like walking and discovering the city, this location is hard to beat. The value for money is also excellent. Considering where the hotel is located and the prices of other accommodations in the area, the rate is absolutely fair and reasonable. The room was perfectly adequate: not very spacious, but completely livable for two people with suitcases. It was clean, tidy, and well maintained. Daily housekeeping and towel changes were included in the price, which is not a given in this area and was definitely appreciated. The only minor downside was the magnetic room keys, which often got demagnetized and stopped working, requiring a visit to the reception to have them reactivated. However, the front desk is open 24/7, so the issue was always resolved within a few minutes. The staff at the reception was always extremely kind and polite, although sometimes not very effective in handling even simple requests (such as tape, scissors, or basic directions). They were always friendly and available, but unfortunately not always helpful. Aside from this small flaw, the hotel is definitely recommended, especially for its unbeatable location and good overall value.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing. The front desk staff made a big difference, and Litzy was especially kind and helpful. She greeted me with a smile, answered all my questions, and made me feel welcome the whole time. It’s always nice when the staff genuinely care, and she definitely did. I would happily stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

We loved staying here! The hotel was super cute. The bar in the lobby was so beautiful! I absolutely loved it. They had drink specials that ended up saving us a lot of money. It is so close to all the action yet the price of the room and drinks were half the price of everything else! The bed was so comfortable and the room was clean. I have to mention again that the location was very very good. Walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go. The staff? Super friendly and accommodating!!! We will definitely be back.

A United flight attendant recommended this spot and I am so happy they did! The location is fantastic, just minutes away from shopping, the beach, and general stores to grab the little things we forgot. The BEST part by far - the service, Letzy (front desk) and C (bartender) were extremely attentive and accommodating! We will absolutely be staying here again when we return to South Beach.

My stay at the hotel was truly pleasant and exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the service was exceptional. I would like to especially highlight the attention provided by Heidy and Litzy, who made my experience even better. Both of them showed a remarkable level of professionalism and warmth. They were always attentive, friendly, and willing to help with anything I needed. Thanks to their excellent service, my stay was more comfortable, smooth, and enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to others. Thank you for the outstanding service.
